Watching the World Go By

Serena sat near the edge of the fountain, staring blankly into it's blue abyss. But only a single thought ran through her head:
Tonight it the night... she thought to herself and she turned to see the hustle and bustle if those who walked by.
To the casual observer, she looked like she was watching the world go by, but if someone were to look more closely, you could tell she was planing something...

The new girl, Julie walked by. " Hello, Im Julie who are you?" Julie was having one of her moments when she enjyed making new friends.

Rina walked by her friend Serena and saw her with a new younger girl so she went up to her and said, " who is the small fry." Rina wasn't trying to be mean.

"stop it"
said jck sending a chill up rina's spine
"don't be mean she is new here"

Julie shook her head. " Its ok. Im Julie, who are you?"

i am jack" he siad
"i controll frozen water. "
he knew rina would torment her so he put more presher on the spine of rina so slowly frost was goin up her back

" Nice to meet you, Jack. Cool powers! Im a shapeshifter." Julie looked at the girl who had called her a small fry and waited to hear what her name was.

Rina saw that Julie was expecting her name but instead came out a large but short roar. She was pissed at Jack and she had planned a short little something for him. Seconds later four dragons came flying above the trees. She roared again and pointed at Jack. The dragons were going against him and were blowing fire. "My name is Rina and a can talk to animals oh and i share my mind with MY four dragons," Rina said proudly. By then she thought Jack had suffered enough so she called off the dragons climbed onto the biggest one and said, " Bye bye folks." And flew off.

Serena's head quickly turned to the commotion, "Oh, hello." Serena turned her attention to Jack and Julie, "I am Serena." She spoke, standing tall above the other three, "Nice too meet you Julie, Jack." Serena smiled, her pointy canine teeth pointing out.

Why now? Serena asked herself. She didn't want to talk right now, but Rina, Julie and Jack were her friends....she couldn't ditch them like this.

"How about we play a game?" Serena suggested, a sly smile playing across her lips.

Staline shyly stepped out of the bush she had been in writing in her notebook "um....Hi, my-" She saw jack and anyone could have sworn that Jacks powers did it "-N-na-am-e Is S-st-a-l-lin-e" She stood there petrified

Serena looked at the stammering girl.

"Hey, I'm Serena." Serena said flatly, "um...are you okay?" she asked, raising an eybrow.

"what is wrong"
jack said.

Staline nearly fainted "o-oh nothing" She said shakily

"what is wrong... is it me"
he said offened.

"N-no i-its ju-st..." She trailed off. She started blushing, She wanted to run but her legs were stuck

"Positive?"
he asked now consered.

Staline just stood there, blushing furiously.

"i think it is me... i will go now"
he said sadly and turned and left.
he removed the ice off rina who was pale now and walked away

Staline just watched him go stuck in her spot

why doesn't anyone like me thought jack while walking away
